ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
RAINBOW VISIONS is Edmonton’s only LGBTQ film festival! Launched in 2015, the 2nd edition is set to take flight from NOVEMBER 3rd to 6th, 2016.

Our inaugural edition featured such acclaimed films as: NAZ & MAALIK, TANGERINE, THE GLAMOUR & THE SQUALOR, CLAMBAKE, THE AMINA PROFILE, and our Audience Award Winner, BOY MEETS GIRL. The first year also welcomed guests such as iconic Canadian ‘punk’ filmmaker Bruce LaBruce, and we presented an archival screening of the 1960’s new wave classic, A TOUT PRENDRE.

RAINBOW VISIONS, along with its sister festival, NORTHWESTFEST (formerly ‘Global Visions’), are the 2 annual festivals produced by the Global Visions Festival Society.
